A lady in Whitstable had recently bought a bungalow which needed a fair amount of work. At the back it had a rickety old lean to which although it had wonderful views over the sea, was damp, dark and didn't show the views to their full potential. The homeowner Lib wanted this removed and a more stable structure with large windows installed so she could enjoy the views every day.
Although she had had a number of builders round, none had been able to give her a firm estimate for the works. We were able to provide with a full broken down quote and we got started on the job in late summer.
As well as the sun room extension, Lib also wanted her front garden landscaped and half moon steps built along the side of the house. The existing steps were very narrow and steep and it was difficult for her to move things in and out of the garden.
The job involved visits from local building regulation which were able to coordinate on behalf of the homeowner to ensure all works met code and were of a high standard.
New insulation, flooring and painting was installed in the living room and sunroom area to finish off the look.
On completion the client was very happy with the overall result and can enjoy her wonderful Whitstable views!
