Wall Removal Maidstone
Karen and Paul wanted to combine their kitchen and dining room into one large open plan area. The job was made more complicated as there were in fact three walls to remove, two of which were supporting and one held up the stairs. Definitely not a job for amateurs!
They had got structural plans drawn up by a building engineer so we were able to provide them with an accurate quote for the labour, beams and making good.
Prior to starting any works we made sure that all floor surfaces were properly covered and openings covered up to prevent dust going into other areas of the house.
Acrows were put up to support the stairs and upper floors and our electrician safely moved the electrical points in the wall.
Within three days all the walls were down and the steels were in place. We liaised with building control for them to come and inspect the work prior to making good.
Over the next week we made repairs to blend in the new beams and flooring. The customers wanted to do the painting themselves to keep costs down and planned to have a new kitchen installed following the removal and have booked us back in to tile their floor. So watch this space!
